4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Jennifer Bethea for a change in <br />zoning from an Agricultural (A) District to an Agricultural (A) District With <br />Specific Use Permit (25) Nursery School, Day Nursery, or Kindergarten, Lot <br />5, City Block 333, being number 4075 Old Bonham Road. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Jennifer Bethea, 4075 Old Bonham Road, spoke in favor of the petition stating <br />that she wants to have a registered day care. She will be licensed by the State, <br />CPR certified. The Day School will be in her home. There is adequate parking <br />and accommodations for up to 12 children. <br />There was no opposition but questions were asked by audience. <br />Zonda Whitten, 4085 Old Bonham Road, questioned kids climbing fence and <br />liability. Scott Foster, City Attorney, advised that Zonda Whitten would not be <br />liable. <br />Ms. Bethea stated that children will be under 5 years old and completely <br />supervised during outside activities. <br />No opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />5.. Consideration of and action on the petition of Jennifer Bethea for a change <br />in zoning from an Agricultural (A) District to an Agricultural (A) District <br />With Specific Use Permit (25) Nursery School, Day Nursery, or <br />Kindergarten, Lot 5, City Block 333, being number 4075 Old Bonham Road. <br />Motion to approve by Bobby Myers, seconded by Mike Dangerfield. Motion <br />carried 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Joe McCarthy joined meeting. <br />6. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Ray Evers for a change in zoning <br />from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Commercial (C) <br />District, Lot 27, City Block 259, being the 2500 Block of East Hickory. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Ray Evers, pastor of Church of God, spoke in favor of the petition. Would like to <br />rezone to aid in sale of property. <br />There was no opposition from Jana McKinney but she did ask questions, however, <br />no questions were directed to Planning and Zoning or Rev. Evers. <br />
