PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />February 1, 1999 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, February 1, 1999 at 5:30 in the City <br />Hall - Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Reeves Hayter <br />2. Bill Coleman <br />3. Cesar Horta <br />4. Louis Yates, Jr. <br />5. Michael Dangerfield <br />6. Marshall Kent <br />7. Bobby L. Myers <br />8. Curtis Fendley <br />9 Joe McCarthy <br />Earl Smith, the City Engineer and Scott Foster, the City Attorney, were also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br />The minutes from the January 4, 1999, regular planning and zoning meeting were <br />approved with a motion by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Joe McCarthy. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Vickie Thompson for a change in <br />zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a One - Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Home, <br />Lot 8, Block 1, Few Addition, being number 1235 N.W. 18th Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Ms. Vickie Thompson spoke in favor of the petition stating that the lot belongs to <br />her parents and there are other mobile homes in the area. She wants to live on <br />property to care for it. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Vickie Thompson for a change <br />in zoning from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) to a One - Family <br />Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Home, <br />Lot 8, Block 1, Few Addition, being number 1235 N.W. 18th Street. <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Louis Yates. <br />Motion carried by a vote of 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
