Consideration of and action on the petition of Monte Moore for a change in <br />zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Multiple Family Dwelling <br />District No. 1 (MF -1) and Planned Development al Commercial District (PD- <br />al), Pt. of Lot 5, City Block 318, being numbers 1100 thru 1300 N.E. 34th <br />Street. <br />Motion made to approve except change Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 <br />(MF -1) to Two - Family Dwelling District (217) along 34th N.E. Motion was made <br />by Louis Yates and seconded by Michael Dangerfield. Motion failed with a vote <br />of 4 ayes and 5 nays. <br />10. Public Hearing to consider the petition of John Mark Spencer for a site plan <br />approval, Lots 3 and 4, Block 4, S. J. Wright's Addition, being number 1825 <br />Bonham Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />John Mark Spencer spoke in favor of the petition stating that the property used to <br />have old car wash, dilapidated and torn down. He tried to sell property but now <br />he wants to build mini warehouses. Buildings would be built like B.J. Floyd's <br />building in Momingside and would comply with greenspace requirements. <br />Walter Cooper, property chairman for Immanuel Baptist Church, states he is not <br />opposed as long as he complies with city ordinance. <br />11. Consideration of and action on the petition of John Mark Spencer for a site <br />plan approval, Lots 3 and 4, Block 4, S. J. Wright's Addition, being number <br />1825 Bonham Street. <br />Motion made to approve subject to City Engineer's memo dated February 1, 1999 <br />and include screening fence along south property line. Motion carried by a vote of <br />9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Motion made to excuse Reeves Hayter from the meeting and Curtis Fendley now <br />chairs meeting. Motion carried by a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
