PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />July 6, 1999 <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, July 6, 1999 at 5:30 in the City Hall - Council <br />Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br />1. Cesar Horta 4. Curtis Fendley <br />2. Bill Coleman 5. Louis Yates, Jr. <br />3. Marshall Kent <br />Earl Smith, the City Engineer was also present. <br />The meeting was called to order by Marshall Kent. <br />The minutes from the June 7, 1999, regular planning and zoning meeting were approved <br />with a motion by Curtis Fendley, seconded by Cesar Horta. Motion carried by a vote of 5 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br />2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of George Rance Pomroy for a change in zoning <br />from an Agriculture District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) With <br />Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 28, City Block 323, being number 3225 NW <br />19`h Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Rance Pomroy, 410 E. Washington, spoke in favor of the petition stating he wants a mobile <br />home located there for his mother who needs to be close by to ease caretaking. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the petition of George Rance Pomroy for a change in <br />zoning from an Agriculture District (A) to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) <br />With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 28, City Block 323, being number <br />3225 NW 19`h Street. <br />Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Cesar Horta. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Brandy Draper for a change in zoning from <br />a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. <br />1 (MF -1), Lot 4, City Block 257, being number 2208 East Cherry. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />There was no one present to speak in favor of the petition. <br />
