The public hearing was declared closed. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the petition of Brandy Draper for a change in zoning <br />from a One - Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple- Family Dwelling <br />District No. 1 (MF -1), Lot 4, City Block 257, being number 2208 East Cherry. <br />Motion was made to table by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Cesar Horta. Motion carried <br />by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />6. Public Hearing to consider the petition of H.C. Reaves, Jr. for a change in zoning from <br />an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 19, City Block 324, being <br />number 2915 FM 79. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. & Mrs. H.C. Reaves, Jr., Box 309B, Rt. 5, Paris, spoke in favor of petition wanting <br />commercial zoning for sale to person who wants to build a carwash. <br />Ms. Isabelle Sims, Rt. 1, Paris, states petition is ok with her. <br />Marshall Suggs, Rt. 1, Sumner, wants to buy property to construct a carwash. <br />Mr. Bobby Smallwood, 1130 Levi Lane, will build the facility. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the petition of H.C. Reaves, Jr. for a change in zoning <br />from an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 19, City Block 324, <br />being number 2915 FM 79. <br />Motion was made to approve by Curtis Fendley and seconded by Louis Yates, Jr. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />8. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Randy Brown for a change in zoning from <br />a General Retail District (GR) to a General Retail District (GR) With Specific Use <br />Permit (52) Signs and Billboards, Lot 1, City Block 347, being number 4025 Clarksville <br />Street. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Mr. Randy Brown, Rt. 2, Box 101, Paris, wants to allow billboard sign construction next to <br />where old railroad bridge was. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />
