4. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Eric Clifford for a change in zoning from an <br />Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 1, City Block 313, being the <br />4700 Block of Lamar. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Eric Clifford, 2765 NE Loop 286, representing Mr. Richard Weems of Reno Paint and Body <br />Shop, spoke in favor of the petition. Mr. Weems has outgrown his Reno location and is <br />unable to expand his business. He would like to build a new shop in Paris that will <br />accommodate his needs. <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />5. Consideration of and action on the petition of Eric Clifford for a change in zoning from <br />an Agricultural District (A) to a Commercial District (C), Lot 1, City Block 313, being <br />the 4700 Block of Lamar. <br />Motion was made to approve by Eddie Vincent and seconded by Bobby Myers. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br />6. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Tammie Green for a change in zoning from <br />a Tivo- Family Dwelling District (2F), to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF -3) <br />With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 10A, City Block 75, being number <br />408 E. Provine. <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />Tammie Green, 300 NE Loop 286, agent for Ms. Wilma Crain, spoke in favor of the petition <br />stating that Ms. Crain would like to put in a manufactured home at 408 E. Provine. Ms. <br />Crain owns the property on E. Provine and lives a dilapidated structure that she would like <br />to have torn down and replaced by a manufactured home. <br />A letter from Mr. George Boone was received and read stating opposition to the petition for <br />a manufactured home on the property. <br />There was no further opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the petition of Tammie Green for a change in zoning <br />from a Two - Family Dwelling District (2F), to a One - Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF- <br />3) With Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Homes, Lot 10A, City Block 75, being number <br />408 E. Provine. <br />Motion was made to approve by Bobby Myers and seconded by Eddie Vincent. Motion <br />carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 1 nay. <br />8. Consideration of and action on the recommendation of the Amended Preliminary Plat, <br />Lot 18, City Block 501, Amherst Court. <br />
