I <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP <br />OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 2 CITY BLOCK 320 ON PROPERTY <br />BELONGING TO CARLES STERLING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C; AND DESIGNATING THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - <br />BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilman Booth for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 92 -009 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 90 -020 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 9TH DAY OF JULY, 1990, <br />BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE PREAMBLE, AND SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br />AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 9, 1992 <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by <br />Councilman Bell for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 6 <br />ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Booth voting nay. <br />City Manager Malone called for the tabulations of bids for one dry <br />plain paper copier for the City Hall Annex, and the following bids were <br />presented: <br />Copy Products, Inc. Konica Model #7090 <br />Sulphur Springs, Texas Lump Sum Price $7,400.00 <br />Copiers and More Sharp Model #SF9800 <br />Paris, Texas Lump Sum Price $7,500.00 <br />After considering points made in a memorandum from City Engineer, Earl <br />Smith, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by <br />Councilwoman Ingram awarding the bid to Copiers and More for a Sharp <br />Model #SF9800, in the amount of $7,500.00. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />City Manager Malone called for the tabulations of bids for furnishing <br />and delivery of one "AIM" gas detector, and all specified components, <br />and the following bids were presented: <br />Casco Industries $1,715.00 <br />Aim USA $1,877.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilwoman Ingram <br />awarding the bid to Casco Industries in the amount of $1,715.00. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 92 -012, authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City <br />of Paris, George Fisher, to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, a <br />lease with the Red River Valley Girl Scout Council of Texas, was <br />presented.- A motion -was made by Councilwoman Smith, seconded by <br />Councilman Bell for approval of the resolution along with the insurance <br />requirements being added to the lease. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 <br />nays. <br />
