I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 2 CITY BLOCK 320 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CARLES STERLING, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Booth for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. ORDINANCE NO. 92 -009 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. 90 -020 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 9TH DAY OF JULY, 1990, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE PREAMBLE, AND SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 9, 1992 was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Shelton, seconded by Councilman Bell for adoption of the ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Booth voting nay. City Manager Malone called for the tabulations of bids for one dry plain paper copier for the City Hall Annex, and the following bids were presented: Copy Products, Inc. Konica Model #7090 Sulphur Springs, Texas Lump Sum Price $7,400.00 Copiers and More Sharp Model #SF9800 Paris, Texas Lump Sum Price $7,500.00 After considering points made in a memorandum from City Engineer, Earl Smith, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilwoman Ingram awarding the bid to Copiers and More for a Sharp Model #SF9800, in the amount of $7,500.00. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. City Manager Malone called for the tabulations of bids for furnishing and delivery of one "AIM" gas detector, and all specified components, and the following bids were presented: Casco Industries $1,715.00 Aim USA $1,877.00 A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilwoman Ingram awarding the bid to Casco Industries in the amount of $1,715.00. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 92 -012, authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, a lease with the Red River Valley Girl Scout Council of Texas, was presented.- A motion -was made by Councilwoman Smith, seconded by Councilman Bell for approval of the resolution along with the insurance requirements being added to the lease. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
