Mayor Fisher told Mr. Melton that normally that is correct -if they find someone that is in violation who is already under the process of construction something without a building permit. Joe McCollum, Director of Community, came forward telling the Council the that person was able to modify his carport by shortening it, which permitted him to get a building permit. Mayor Fisher instructed city staff to work on this matter between now and the Thursday meeting in April, and requested that an- action item be placed on the agenda for the Thursday night Council meeting. City Manager Malone called consideration of and action on authorizing the preparation of establishing a curfew.
