RESOLUTION NO. 92-024 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris continues <br />to support the protection of the environment; and; <br />WHEREAS, it is right and proper to comply with all of <br />the laws, regulations and rules of the state and federal <br />government with regard to environmental matters; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the City Council on <br />behalf of the citizens of Paris be committed to protection of <br />the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS that the EPA Region 6 be informed that the following <br />actions were taken by the City of Paris, Paris, Texas: <br />1. Reviewed the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention <br />Environmental Audit Report attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />2. Continue to adequately fund actions necessary to <br />maintain permit requirements contained in the NPDES <br />Permit number TX0027910, including but not limited to <br />the following: <br />(1) To reduce infiltration and inflow to-the collection <br />system. <br />(2) To reduce number and quantity of overflows 'and <br />bypasses from the collection system. <br />(3) To man, maintain and operate the POTW. <br />Passed and adopted this 30th day of March, 1992. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit Clerk <br />APPROVED A T FORM: <br />T.
