Paris Jr. College to have one, and one in West Paris at Travis Jr. High <br />School, or Thomas S. Justiss. <br />Reverend R. L. Graves, Olive Branch Church, stating he wanted to make a <br />correction to what the Mayor had stated. Reverend Graves told the <br />Mayor that on the first Saturday of March, they had expected the Mayor <br />at their meeting, but you were out of town. <br />Flex Gibson, Chairman of the Visitors and Convention of the Chamber of <br />Commerce, appeared before the Council stating that on March 10th the <br />Chamber of Commerce's Directors, at their regular meeting, authorized <br />him to write a letter to the City Council requesting the amendment to <br />the contract with the Chamber in regard to the operation of the <br />Visitors and Convention Council, as well as to work with the <br />continuation of the Civic Center. Mr. Gibson gave a history of the <br />Civic Center which started in 1990. <br />After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Bell to table <br />action on this resolution until after executive session. The motion <br />was seconded.by Councilman Burnett, and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 92 -024, resolving that the City Council of the City and <br />the EPA Region 6 be informed that the following action were taken by <br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas: <br />1. Reviewed the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention Environmental <br />Audit Report. <br />2. Continue to adequately fund actions necessary to maintain permit <br />requirements contained in the NPDES Permit Number TXO027910, <br />including but not limited to the following: <br />(1) To reduce infiltration and inflow to the collection system. <br />(2) To reduce number and quantity of overflows and bypasses from <br />the collection system. <br />(3) To man,'maintain and operate the POTW. <br />
