Section 6. The parties hereto agree that nothing in this amendment shall be construed as authorizing any violation of federal, state or local laws or regulations as they pertain to the contract identified in Section 1 above. Section 7. By the signing of this amendment, the parties hereto expressly understand and agree that this amendment shall become a part of the contract identified above in Section 1 as though it were set forth word for word therein. M. AND 7:00 P. M. O'CLOCK P. M., by the qualified voters of districts 1, 2, 3, AND 6, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, WITH EARLY VOTING FOR THE SAME BEING CONDUCTED IN THE CITY HALL ANNEX WEST, FROM THE 13TH DAY OF APRIL, 1992, THROUGH THE 28TH DAY OF APRIL, 1992, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 O'CLOCK A. M. AND 5:00 O'CLOCK P. M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM EACH OF SAID DISTRICTS TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE ENSUING TWO YEARS was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Booth, seconded by Councilman Shelton for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
