AMENDMENT NO. 3 <br />TEXAS RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM <br />TARP CONTRACT NO. R88006 <br />TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS <br />AND THE <br />CITY OF PARIS <br />STATE OF TEXAS ] <br />COUNTY OF TRAVIS ] <br />Section 1. <br />The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, an agency of the State of Texas, <br />hereinafter referred to as "Department', and the City of Paris, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Contractor ", do hereby contract and agree to amend their original contract, as initially executed <br />by the Executive Director of Department effective January 2, 1989, through January 1, 1992, for <br />the performance of rental rehabilitation activities. <br />Section 2. <br />The parties hereto agree to amend the contract identified in Section 1 above so that Section 2, <br />entitled CONTRACT PERIOD, is revised to read hereafter as given below: <br />Section 2. CONTRACT PERIOD <br />This contract and agreement shall commence on January 2, 1989, and shall terminate <br />on June 30, 1992, unless otherwise specifically provided by the terms of this contract. <br />Section 3. <br />The parties hereto agree that this amendment shall become effective on January 1, 1992. <br />Section 4. <br />The parties hereto agree that this amendment shall require no change in previously approved <br />funding. <br />Section 5. <br />The parties hereto agree that all of the terms of the contract identified in Section 1 above shall <br />remain in effect and shall continue to govern except to the extent that they conflict with the terms <br />of this amendment. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
