RESOLUTION NO. 91 -008
<br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
<br />Council of the City of Paris that there are streets and alleys
<br />located in the Texas and Pacific Addition, being Pacific Avenue
<br />between the east boundary line of Church Street and the west
<br />boundary line of 3rd Street S.E. and between the east boundary
<br />line of 3rd Street S.E. and the west boundary line of 6th Street
<br />S.E.; Sycamore Street between the East boundary line of Lot 2,
<br />City Block 162 and the west boundary line of Lot 2, Block 1 -A;
<br />4th Street S.E. between the north boundary line of Paris Blvd.
<br />and the south boundary line of Lot 2, City Block 162; 5th Street
<br />S.E. between the north boundary line of Paris Blvd and the south
<br />boundary line of Lot 5, City Block 162; and the alleys located in
<br />Blocks 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the Texas and Pacific
<br />Addition; and,
<br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City
<br />Council that said streets and alleys are not desired by the
<br />property owners adjacent thereto and are of no use to the City
<br />of Paris and its citizens; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he
<br />is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed to the
<br />streets and alleys being closed to the adjacent owners on either
<br />side of said streets and alleys, it appearing that the real and
<br />true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows:
