3;1-- I <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1 -017 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at <br />its regular meeting on September 24, 1991, in Ordinance No. <br />90 -034 authorize the advertisement for bids for furnishing <br />labor, materials and equipment and performing all work <br />required for the installation of carpet at the Police and <br />Court Building located at 811 Bonham, Paris, Texas, which <br />bids were received until 3:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, January <br />29, 1991; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such carpet and installation <br />was made by Edward C. Seidle, d /b /a Seidle Enterprises, <br />Paris, Texas and it should be,awarded the bid for such carpet <br />and installation; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such carpet and <br />installation project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, should <br />be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That the Bid of Edward C. Seidle, d /b /a Seidle Enterprises, <br />for the carpet and installation at the Paris Police and Court <br />Building located at 811 Bonham, Paris, Texas, in the amount <br />of $1,776.00 is hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said <br />contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications <br />included in the bid documents; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,' That 'the Mayor 6f the City of <br />Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />contract with Edward C. Seidle, d /b /a Seidle Enterprises, for <br />carpet and installation upon the terms and conditions and in <br />the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of February, 1991. <br />Eric S.
