After <br />discussion, Mayor Burnett referred this matter to the Water and Sewer <br />Committee for their study and recommendation. City Manager Malone told <br />Mr. Taylor that he would notify him of the time and place of the <br />meeting. Mr. Taylor requested that this matter be expedited. <br />Bob LaRue, Route 6, Box 42K, Paris, Texas representing the Rotary Club <br />request permission from the City of Paris to have fireworks <br />demonstration at Noyes Stadium July 3rd. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Wortham granting permission <br />for the Rotary Club to have a fireworks demonstration at Noyes Stadium <br />July 3rd. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for consideration of and action on authorizing the <br />preparation of an ordinance revising Chapter 15 1/2 of the Code of <br />Ordinances by revising Section 15 1/2 -5 and adding Section 15 1/2 -6 to <br />allow Deputy Municipal Court Clerks to accept sworn complaints. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Clifford, seconded by Councilman Wortham <br />for the preparation of an Ordinance revising Chapter 15 1/2 of the Code <br />of Ordinances by Revising Section 15 1/2 -5 and adding Section 15 1/2 -6 <br />to allow Deputy Municipal Court Clerks to accept sworn complaints. The <br />motion carried 5 ayes, O nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Clifford authorizing preparation of an <br />Ordinance revising Section 14 -1(a) "Littering Prohibited" of the Code <br />of Ordinance. BILLIARD, SO AS TO <br />INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI FAMILY <br />DISTRICT 0-1); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by <br />Councilman Wortham for adoption of the Ordinance.
