53 2Resolution No. 87 -004 appointing Dr. Larry Crmnpler as a member of the <br />Animal Advisory Board to serve until a successor is appointed was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bufford, seconded by Councilman <br />Folmar for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 -004 <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of <br />the Animal Advisory Board due to the death of Ed Bretz, and <br />it is necessary to fill that vacancy, and the Mayor of the <br />City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, having appointed Dr. Larry <br />Crumpler to serve on said Animal Advisory Board, and has <br />submitted the name of such person to the City Council of the <br />City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: That the appointment of Dr. Larry Crumpler, as a <br />member of the Animal Advisory Board, to serve until a <br />successor is appointed, be, and the same is hereby approved <br />and confirmed by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of January, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />B 1 ly,�e- " urnett, Mayor <br />Mattie Cunningham, City erk <br />APPROVED AS TO <br />s, City ..,Attorney <br />Councilman Francis entered the council chambers and assumed his seat at the <br />council table. <br />Resolution No. 87 -005 authorizing and directing the City Manager, Michael <br />E. Malone, to process an application for a secondary use permit authorizing <br />the use of treated effluent to irrigate vegetation on the land leased from <br />Loyd Barrow and wife as a sludge disposal site was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman Hoog for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
