Resolution No. 031 authorizing and directing the City Attorney, T. K. <br />Haynes to proceed to condemn property to be use for utility <br />relocation in connection with the Collegiate Drive Improvement <br />Project was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Folmar, <br />seconded by Councilman Wortham for approval of the Resolution. The <br />motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 -031 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of - .Paris did <br />heretofore authorize the utility relocation in connection <br />with Collegiate Drive Improvement Project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the easement descriptions necessary for the <br />completion of said utility relocation project are shown on <br />Exhibit A attached hereto; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above <br />described utility easements are necessary for said utility <br />relocation project and that the same should be condemned; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to proceed with eminent <br />domain proceedings to condemn the above described property <br />to be used for utility relocation in connection with <br />Collegiate Drive Improvement Project. <br />Passed and adopted this 16th day of March, 1987. <br />ATTEST: <br />• - Burnett, ayor <br />APPROVED AS-YO FORM: <br />ynes, City Attorney <br />
