ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND JOHN BUSS, DATED JULY 8, 1985. STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LAMAR. § That this Addendum to Professional Service Contract, made this 30th day of March, 1987, by. and between CITY OF PARIS, acting by and through its Mayor, Billy Joe Burnett, duly authorized and John Buss, WITNESSETH: It is hereby mutally agreed by and between City of Paris and John Buss, that paragraph 1 to the Professional Service Contract between the City of Paris and John Buss, dated July 8, 1985, be changed to read as follows: "1. For and in consideration of salary payments and other consideration hereinafter mentioned to be made by CITY, BUSS agrees to act as Assistant City Manager, and Special Projects Engineer for CITY and to carry out, to the best of his ability, all duties imposed upon him by this contract, the City .Manager of the City of Paris, the Charter of the City of Paris, and the laws of the State of Texas." Paragraph 7. D. shall be changed to read as follows: "7. D. For the period beginning October 1, 1986, and continuing until the termination of this contract, BUSS reserves the unilateral right to terminate this contract by giving 14 days notice of such termination to the CITY." Paragraph 7. E. shall be added and shall read as follows: 7. E. CITY and BUSS mutually agree to terminate this contract on the 29th day of May, 1987, by CITY paying three (3) pay periods from said date which is the last day of a pay period; allowance for moving and relocation EXHIBIT "A"
