66S <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 --037 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did <br />heretofore in Resolution No. 85 -056 authorize contracting <br />with John Buss for professional services as Director of <br />Engineering and Assistant City Manager of the City of Paris; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the desire for continuity of Engineering <br />management during the time of major construction projects <br />effecting the water and wastewater system of the City of <br />Paris which resulted in the above described contract will <br />have been accomplished by the 29th day of May, 1987; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it <br />to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that John <br />Buss' employment contract be amended upon the terms and <br />conditions and in the form of Addendum No. 1 attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A, and such form should be approved; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Professional Service Contract with John <br />Buss, be, and the same is hereby amended as contained in <br />Addendum No. 1 attached hereto as .Exhibit A, the form of <br />which is hereby approved; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />PARIS, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the <br />Addendum No. 1 to the Professional Service Contract with <br />John Buss. <br />Passed and adopted this 30th day of March, 1987. <br />Bi ye Burnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T.
