AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN. TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); CONDITIONED ON BOTH EXISTING STRUCTURES BEING ON CITY SEWER SERVICE; AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) SO ESTABLISHED was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bufford, seconded by Councilman Clifford for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. ORDINANCE NO. 87 -026 AN ORDINANCE CONTAINING A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS REMAINING ON THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE AND WELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID RUBBISH, LUMBER AND REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE was presented. Councilman Bone advised that there was a person in the audience who wished to make a short presentation regarding a building that has burned. John Rader, of the North Park Addition appeared before the Council and presented a petition containing 89 signatures requesting that the burned building located at the intersection of N. E. Loop 286 and 34th Street N. E. be removed. Joe McCollum, Director of of Community Development advised that this property has been declared dilapidated and the Building Hazard Committee's recommendation was to order removal within 30 days pending a legal opinion. City Attorney Haynes told the Council the reason the property owner has not removed the structure was because their Insurance Company has failed to honor the claim and the building is considered evidence. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Wortham, seconded by Councilman Clifford for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. ORDINANCE NO. 87 -027 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO- PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29 -112 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING NO PARKING AREAS: PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1987 was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fendley, seconded by Councilman Kent for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
