RESOLUTION NO. 87 -054 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is <br />interested in pursuing all historically significant records <br />including those that pertain to the Paris Fire Department; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, The Lamar County Historical Society has begun <br />a project entitled Paris Fire Department Historical Project <br />whose chairperson is Debbie Burks; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is right and proper that the City of Paris, <br />Paris Fire Department and its Chief cooperate in said <br />project and that the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A, <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the agreement with The Lamar County Historical <br />Society attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is <br />hereby approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Steve Burgin, Chief, Paris <br />Fire Department, be, and he is hereby authorized and direct- <br />ed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the agreement <br />in the form of Exhibit A, attached hereto, with The Lamar <br />County Historical Society. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of May, 1987. <br />/•', <br />Burnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Ci y er <br />APPRO D AS TO FORM: <br />K.
