Resolution No. 87 -064 reappointin g
<br />Billy Brown an Ralph Rodgers, and
<br />Wells and Don Hoffman to serve
<br />Authority of the City of Paris for
<br />1, 1987 was presented. A. motion
<br />seconded by Councilman Wortham for
<br />motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. .
<br />Spencer Abbett, Mrs. Opal Nahas,
<br />the appointment of Dick Amis, Paul
<br />as members of the Paris Hospital
<br />a term of two years beginning July
<br />was made by Councilman Clifford,
<br />approval of the Resolution. The
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 -064
<br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of
<br />the Paris Hospital Authority of the City of Paris due to the
<br />death of Leland B. Smith, and it is necessary to appoint his
<br />successor; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of J. R. Hutchison,
<br />Spencer Abbett, Mrs. Opal Nahas, Billy Brown, Ralph Rodgers,
<br />and, Homer Thornton as members of the Paris Hospital
<br />Authority of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30,
<br />1987; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris,. Billy Joe
<br />Burnett, does hereby recommend the re- appointment of Spencer
<br />Abbett, Mrs. Opal Nahas, Billy Brown and Ralph Rodgers and
<br />the appointments of Dick Amis, Paul Wells and Don Hoffman,
<br />for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1987, and
<br />ending June 30, 1989; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, that the re- appointment of Spencer Abbett, Mrs. Opal
<br />Nahas, Billy Brown and Ralph Rodgers, and the appointments
<br />of Dick Amis, Paul Wells and Don Hoffman, to serve as
<br />members of the Paris Hospital Authority of the City of
<br />Paris, for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1,• 1987,
<br />and ending June 30, 1989, be, and the same are hereby
<br />approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of
<br />Paris.
