`1182 Resolution No. 87 -065 appointing J. B. Bankhead, Mike Copeland and Roy Moody Welch to serve as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris for a term of two years beginning July 1, 1987 was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Clifford, seconded by Councilman Wortham for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. RESOLUTION NO. 87 -065 WHEREAS, the terms of office of Sister Mary Eustace Farrell, Nadine Ausbie and Raymond Armstrong as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30, 1987; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, does hereby recommend the appointments of J. B. Bankhead, Mike Copeland and Roy Moody Welch, for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1987, and ending June 30, 1989; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the appointment of J. B. Bankhead, Mike Copeland and Roy Moody Welch, to serve as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1987, and ending June 30, 1989, be, and the same are hereby approved and confirmed by the City Council of the City of Paris. A motion was made by Councilman Clifford, seconded by Councilman Wortham for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
