<br />RESOLUTION NO. 87 -070
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
<br />heretofore, in Resolution No. 86 -077, award the contract for
<br />the Paris Public Library Improvements to Audley Moore
<br />Company; and,
<br />WHEREAS, William M. Lightfoot, AIA; recommends the
<br />amendment of said contract by Change Orders No. 2, 3, 4, 5,
<br />and 6, attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", "B ", "C"; "D" and
<br />"E"; and,
<br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 provides for a net increase
<br />in contract price of $864.00 to a total of $709,239.00, for
<br />adding 160' PVC drain line from retaining wall and sewer.and
<br />adding french drain at old building connect to sewer line;
<br />and,
<br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 provides for a net increase
<br />in contract price of $2,355.00 to a total of $711,594.00,
<br />for removing approximately 137 LF existing curb and gutter
<br />at west side, replacing with new curb and gutter and adding
<br />10' x 34' 6" thick concrete driveway with #3 rebar 18" on
<br />center at west overhead door; and,
<br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 provides for a net increase
<br />in contract price of $2,968.00 to a total of $714,562.00,
<br />for adding planter; and,
<br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 5 provides for a net increase
<br />in contract price of $1,049.00 to a total of $715,611.00,
<br />for extending retaining wall at south side of paving 12';
<br />and,
<br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 6 provides for a net increase
<br />!—`; in contract price of $350.00 to a total of $715,961;00, for
<br />adding 36" x 74 LF wall carpet "Jungle Spice" 110 -6864 above
<br />bookcase Room 111; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, That the contract for the Paris Public Library
<br />Improvement project is hereby amended by Change Orders No.
<br />2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, attached hereto as Exhibit A B 11C11 ,
<br />"D" and "E" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Billy Joe
<br />Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the
<br />City of Paris, to execute said Change Orders.
