Anderson, Director of Finance, appeared before the Council and told <br />the Council that the storage capacity of the cm -puter system for the Police <br />Department was 200 Megabytes and 95% of storage had been used, that a <br />computer requires excess capacity, it can not store 100 %, and requested <br />authorization for expansion of 200 megabytes at an approximate cost of <br />$14,500.00. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded. by <br />Councilman Wortham authorizing the expansion of the computer system at the <br />Police Department. The motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays._ <br />Mayor Burnett announced that the Council would go back to item 2 -B. <br />Steve Burgin, Fire Chief presented the Council with copies of the Protocol <br />for the Emergency Medical Service, and called the Council's attention to <br />the drug list, and when you administer the Nitronox Analgesic. <br />Councilman Hoog made a motion to take this item from the table. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Wortham and carried unanimously. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wortham authorizing the purchase of the two <br />Nitronox Analgesic Unit from the low bidder, Armstrong Industries of <br />Dallas, Texas in the amount of $2,296.00. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Hoog and carried 3 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Francis voting nay. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented a Resolution authorizing transfer of the <br />Franchise with McCaw Midwest Communications Inc. to Cooke Cablevision, <br />Inc. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by <br />Councilman Francis to table action on this Resolution for further <br />information. The motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays <br />Resolution No. 87 -011 reappointing Dr. Wallace E. Kraft as an ex- officio <br />member of the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris to serve until <br />his successor is appointed was presented. A motion.was made by Councilman <br />Hoog, seconded by Councilman Wortham for approval of the Resolution The <br />motion carried 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
