n <br />final plat was presented to the Planning and Zoning Commission there <br />was 21 exception which had not been resolved. Mr. Tompkins states <br />now all exceptions have been met with the exception of five which are <br />as follows: All required drainage improvements shall be constructed <br />and accepted within 180 days; Complete all water and sewer main <br />testing in accordance with City Standards within 45 days; All to <br />shall have closure error less than 1/7500; Add the following as No <br />10 for variances to subdivision Regulations - Holding tanks shall <br />used for sewage disposal until flow from future development requires <br />installation of suitable improvements; Update General Note 3 to <br />include C.C. and R. for variance number 10. Mr. Tompkins recommended <br />approval of the final plat subject to compliance with the above <br />exceptions. <br />Discussion of the use of holding tanks was had with the Council and <br />City Manager Malone. City Manager Malone stated that it was in the <br />best interest of the City of Paris's Comprehensive Planning to use <br />the holding tanks, and told the Council that this defers the decision <br />on what lift station that will have to be used. <br />Don Wilson, Developer, appeared before the Council stating that the <br />type sewer system to be used would depend on what type business is <br />established and the number of employees. <br />After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Folmar to <br />approve the final plat subject to the requirements of the City <br />Engineer. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hoog and carried 6 <br />ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Hoog departed the Council Chambers. <br />David Tompkins, City Engineer, presented the final plat of Oak Cret <br />Phase No. 2 and recommended tabling action on this plat due to the <br />requirements. A motion was made by Councilman Folmar, seconded by <br />Councilman Wortham to table action on this item. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petition for rezoning: <br />Tommy V. Frazier, Tot 9 and 9B, City Block 220-A requesting Site <br />Plan Approval in a Planned Development - Shopping Center District; <br />Sammy Short, Lot 5, City Block 205 from Planned Development <br />District to Commercial - Planned Development Site Plan Amendment; D. <br />Lois Stocker, Lots 3 and 3A, City Block 126, from NF-1 District to <br />Commercial District; Benny R. Lovell, Lot 5, Block 307, from <br />Commercial District to Comercial Auto Fuel Sales District. <br />Mayor Burnett referred the petitions o the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for their study and recommendation and called for a public <br />hearing at the next regular Council meeting. <br />There being no further business, thh@ meeting adjourned. <br />Off BUIRW , OR <br />
