When it is determined that development will cause concentrated flow to a downstream property owner above the capacity of the existing drainageway, off -site drainage improvements will be required. 2. When necessary to improve the drainageway, drainage easements shall be obtained. The City may elect to use condemnation powers on an individual basis, when requested and when the following conditions have been met. 2.1 The proposed drainage easments are in a natural drain. 2.2 The developer has offered the property owner the amount reccm -ended by an independent appraiser approved by the the City Attorney. 2.3 The developer has agreed to pay all costs associated with the condemnation process and the off -site drainage improvements. .2.4" The developer acknowledges the decision by the Council to pursue condemoation is elective and is not guaranteed. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Folmar, seconded by Councilman Bufford for adoption of the policy as presented. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Burnett called for consideration and action on the need for Cox Field Airport storm sewer system improvements and authorize the seeking of grants to acccxnplish the same. A motion was made by Councilman Bone, seconded by Councilman Wortham authorizing City Staff to seek out Federal Grants to improve the sewer system at Cox Field Airport. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Burnett called for action on authorizing an Ordinance revising the Traffic- Control Device Map providing for stop signs stopping northbound traffic on 20th Street N. W. at West Walker Street, stopping westbound traffic on Dawn Drive at Loop 286 S. E., and stopping northbound traffic on 25th Street N. E. at Hickory Street. A motion was made by Councilman Wortham, seconded by Councilman Francis authorizing preparation an Ordinance revising the Traffic - Control Map to be presented at the next regular Council meeting. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Burnett announced the next item on. the agenda was consideration and action on previously authorized Ordinances.
