RESOLUTION NO. 87 -019 <br />WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of <br />the -Civil Service Commission of the City of Paris due to the <br />resignation of Tommy Haynes, and it is necessary to appoint <br />his successor, and the City Manager of the City of Paris, <br />Michael E. Malone, having appointed Philip Cecil to serve <br />the unexpired term of Tommy Haynes, which ends December 31, <br />1987, has submitted the name of such person to the City <br />Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS: That the appointment of Philip Cecil, as a member of <br />the Civil Service Commission of the City of Paris, to serve <br />the unexpired term of Tommy Haynes, which ends December 31, <br />1987, is by the City Council of the City of Paris hereby <br />approved and confirmed. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of February, 1987. <br />W <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, Cit er <br />APPROVED AS FORM: <br />T. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 87 -020 appointing Rayburn Bell as a member of the <br />Building Commission of the City of Paris, to serve the unexpired term <br />of Lyndol Brown, which ends December 31, 1987 was presented. A <br />motion was made by Councilman Wortham, seconded by Councilman Folmar <br />for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
