RESOLUTION NO. 87 -023 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore on the 9th day of June, 1986, authorize the City Staff to develop plans and specifications for a sludge disposal system for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and on the 26th day of January, 1987, authorized the construction of the Sludge Disposal System Pump Station; and, WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to proceed with the Wastewater Sludge Disposal System transmission pipeline and irrigation equipment; and, WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the Waste- water Sludge Disposal System transmission pipeline and irrigation equipment have been prepared by the Engineering Department of the City of Paris, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the plans and specifications for Wastewater Sludge Disposal System transmission pipeline and irrigation equipment are hereby approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such project for Waste- water Sludge Disposal System transmission pipeline and irrigation equipment should be advertised for bids to be received after due notice and thereafter returned to City Council for letting. Haynes, City Attorney Resolution No. 87 -024 calling for a public hearing to be held by and before the City Council at the City of Paris in regular session convened on the 9th day of March, 1987 at 7:00 in the Council Room, City Hall, to hear all matters relating to the matter of a 6" sewer main pro rata extension beginning at the Northwest corner of Briazwood and 31st N. E. Street was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bone, seconded by Councilman Hoog for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
