Mayor Burnett called for discussion on the possibility of developing <br />Lake Crook. Councilman Folmar stated he would like to see something <br />started on the development of the Lake Crook property. Councilman <br />Bone expressed his desire to serve on a ccmuittee. After further <br />discussion, a ccatmittee was appointed consisting of Councilman Bone, <br />Councilman Wortham, and Councilman Hoog to study the possibility of <br />developing the Lake Crook property. <br />Discussion was had concerning the Hotel - Motel Tax. City Attorney <br />Haynes reported that the City had received $15,000.00 frcan the <br />Holiday Inn and the first payment from the Truck Stop. Mr. Haynes <br />told the Council he had spoken with the General Manager of the <br />Victorian Inn, who promised to get a check in the mail. Mr. Haynes <br />advised that things were looking better for the Holiday Inn due to <br />their pending sale, that we would get the balance due for Hotel Motel <br />Tax on closing. <br />Mayor Burnett announced that the Council would go into executive <br />session, and declared the regular session closed. <br />City Attorney Haynes reported on existing claims and the status on <br />pending litigation. <br />Mayor Burnett declared the executive session closed, and the regular <br />session open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />"ok-lZim..� <br />13W.
