There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />2M& ®RV'-'-ffl_ <br />WARAN <br />r TI '4 • . <br />� <br />ATTEST: <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />March 5, 1987 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris net in regular session <br />Thursday, March 5, 1987, 5:15 P. M. Council Chambers, City Hall. <br />Mayor Billy J. Burnett called the meeting to order with the following <br />Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Travis Wortham, Jeff Hoog, and <br />Bill Bone. Also present was City Manager, Michael E. Malone, City <br />Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham. <br />Joe McCollum, Director of Community Development, appeared before the <br />Council and presented the minutes of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission's meeting held on March 2, 1987, and attached hereto as <br />part of these minutes as exhibit A. <br />Mayor Burnett declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Tommy V. Frazier for a Site Plan Amendment in a Planned Development <br />Shopping Center District (PD -a) on Lots 9 and 9B, City Block 220-A <br />located on the south side of Pine Bluff Street at 19th N. E. <br />Mayor Burnett called for proponents to appear, and Ms. Tommy V. <br />Frazier, 1210 35th N. E., appeared before the .Council and advised <br />that he planned to build a building for his custom auto accessory and <br />auto care business, it would not degrade the surrounding properties, <br />and that he would agree to the amendments. . <br />Mayor Burnett called for opponents to appear, none appeared and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />City Attorney Haynes stated that there was an item that did not <br />appear on the Site Plan, and the City would like to have a Utility <br />Easementon a portion of the property. Mr. Frazier was in agreement <br />to the Utility Easement. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by <br />Councilman Bone for approval of the Site Plan subject to the <br />requirements of the City Engineer along with the Utility Easement, <br />and called for the preparation of an Ordinance to be presented at the <br />next regular council meeting. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays <br />Mayor Burnett declared the public hearing open on the petition of D. <br />Lois Stocker for a change in zoning from a Multi- Family Dwelling <br />District No. 1 (Mw-1) to a Commercial (c) on. Lots 3 and 3-A, City <br />Block 126, located at 102 7th S. W. <br />Mayor Burnett called for proponents to appear, and none appeared. <br />Mayor Burnett called for opponents to appear and none appear and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />Councilman Folmar entered the Council chambers and assumed his seat <br />at the council table. <br />
