The motion was second- <br />ed by Councilman Ware, and carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Wilson <br />voting nay. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the City would receive recommendations of <br />the Traffic Commission and take appropriate action on such recommenda- <br />tions. Minutes of the Traffic Commission are attached as Exhibit B <br />hereto. <br />City Attorney Haynes recommended that the recommendations concerning <br />speed limits on State Roads be referred to the Texas Department of <br />Highways and Public Transportation for their study and recommendations. <br />The staff was instructed to so do. <br />City Manager Doty presented a request from James Darnell for a pro -rata <br />contract for approximately 2,450 feet of water line to serve Elk Hollow <br />Addition. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilman Wilson to call a public hearing concerning the pro -rata <br />contract. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the next item would be consideration of an <br />action on a policy concerning advertising material in conjunction with <br />Library Programs.
