1 , a <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -003 <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of <br />the process of acquiring an interest in or the <br />to number 1651 Clarksville Street described o <br />attached to Exhibit A attached hereto; and, <br />Paris is in <br />total right <br />n Exhibit A <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of leasing said <br />property to the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, Inc. <br />for a term of five (5) years, beginning January 1, 1984 and <br />ending December 31, 1988 upon the terms and conditions and <br />in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, <br />and lie is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City <br />of Paris, a lease contract with the Chamber of Commerce of <br />Lamar County, Inc, upon the terms and conditions and in the <br />form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of January, 1984. <br />J e Gra am, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Resolution No. 84 -004 extending contract with the Chamber of Commerce <br />for promoting and advertising the City of Paris through the Hotel -Motel <br />Occupancy Tax for a period of 60 days to March First 1984 was presented. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Ware for <br />approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ages, 0 nays. <br />
