451 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2162 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris suffered extensive tornado <br />damage on the 2nd day of April, 1982; and, <br />WHEREAS, immediate help and assistance was volunteered <br />by neighboring municipalities; religious and non - profit <br />organizations and individuals for which the citizens of <br />Paris and their government is deem indebted <br />deeply NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that all persons and organizations assisting the City <br />of Paris and its citizens in its time of extreme need be- <br />ginning on the 2nd day of April, 1982, and continuing to <br />present, be, and they are hereby gratefully thanked for <br />their generosity , concern and help. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of April, 1982. <br />Billy-W Billy-W Burnett, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of the Resolution. <br />The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
