y � <br />x <br />t <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />June 7, 1982 <br />The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held <br />Monday, June 7, 1982, 5:00 P. M. Mayor Graham called the meeting to <br />order with the following Councilmen present: Donald G. Wilson, Gene <br />McWaters, Jr., Walter F. Williams, George Fisher, Jr., and W. C. <br />Francis. Also present were City Manager, R. W. Sokoll, City Attorney, <br />T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the special meeting was called for the <br />purpose of the presentation of the 1982 -83 Financial Plan and Budget. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented the Proposed Budget for the fiscal year <br />1982 -83 and requested that a public hearing be called in accordance <br />with the City Charter. Mayor Graham called for a public hearing on <br />the Proposed Budget on June 14, 1982 at the Council's regular meeting. <br />Mayor Graham announced that the Council would go into executive <br />session to discuss personnel matters, and the regular session was <br />declared closed. <br />Councilman McGee entered the Council Chamber and assumed his chair <br />at the Council Table. <br />Personnel matters were discussed with the Council. <br />Mayor Graham declared the executive session closed and the regular <br />session open. <br />Mr. Robert Downs representing National Pipe Improvement Company of <br />y Grapevine, Texas appeared before the Council and gave a presentation <br />on Polyethylene Pipe. Discussion was had on the use of pipe on <br />the outfall line between Paris and the Waste Water Treatment Plant <br />and particularly across the Pine Creek Crossing. Mr. James E. <br />Vermillion representing Vemco Equipment, Inc., also was present at <br />the Sewer Pipe presentation. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />JOE GRAHAM, MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
