A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by <br />Councilman Williams and carried 6 ayes, 1 nay, Councilman Fisher voting <br />nay. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented two proposals from Audit Firms for <br />auditing the 1981 -82 accounting records for the City of Paris as <br />provided by the City Charter. City Manager Sokoll recommended that <br />McClanahan and Holmes be appointed to perform the audit. After <br />discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by <br />Councilman McGee approving the appointment of McClanahan and Holmes <br />to perform the 1981 -82 audit. The motion carried 5 ayes,2 nays, <br />Councilman Williams and Councilman Fisher voting nay. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the 1982 -83 Budget. <br />Mr. Jim Bell appeared before the Council requesting a traffic signal <br />be included in the 1982 -83 budget at 24th Street and Lamar Ave. No <br />one else appeared before the Council and the public hearing was <br />declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2633 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE ENUSING FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING <br />JULY 1, 1982, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1983, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, APPROPRIATING THE VARIOUS AMOUNTS THEREOF AND <br />REPEALING ALL PRDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilman Wilson for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2168 transferring amount from Contingent Appropriation <br />Account to Budget Accounts was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of <br />the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />I <br />�i <br />is <br />
