4:j J <br />Resolution No. 2172 appointing George Fisher, and Don Wilson to the <br />Board of Director of Ark -Tex Council of Government was presented.. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2172 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member <br />of the Ark -Tex Council of Governments; and, <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark - <br />Tex Council of Goverments the Board of Directors of same <br />shall be composed of members elected or appointed by <br />the membership, and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint <br />three members of the Board of Directors of Ark -Tex <br />Council of Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the <br />same; and, <br />WHEREAS, Joe Graham, Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />recommends the appointment by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris of George Fisher and Don Wilson, to serve <br />until their successors are duly qualified or installed <br />or until they become disqualified to so serve; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, that George Fisher and Don Wilson, be, and <br />they are hereby appointed as members of the Board of <br />Directors of Ark -Tex Council of Governments, to serve _ <br />until their successors are duly qualified or installed, <br />or until they become disqualified to so serve. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of June, 1982. <br />9 J e Gra am, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H. ! re ne, City C er <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T.
