Resolution No. 2182 appointing the Mayor of the City of Paris, The City Manager, and Councilman Larry McGee to serve as a Committee to review and approve the proposed program of Work of the Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County was presented. RESOLUTION NO. 2182 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 1933 authorize the contracting with the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County to use hotel occupancy tax funds for promoting and advertising the City of Paris, which contract has been renewed for periods, the current of which expires on the 31st day of December, 1983; and, WHEREAS, Joe Graham, which term of office expires on December 31, 1983, has resigned and the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, having appointed Larry McGee to serve the unexpired term of Joe Graham, has submitted the name of such person to the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Larry McGee, be, and he is hereby appointed as council- man member on the Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County to serve the unexpired term of Joe Graham, which ends on December 31, 1983; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a committee be, and the same is hereby appointed, consisting of the Mayor of the City of Paris, City Manager of the City of Paris, and Councilman Larry McGee, to serve as the committee to review and approve the proposed program of work of the Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County under said contract or its successor, Passed and adopted this 14th day of June, 1982, J e Graham, Mayor ATTEST: H.
