Mayor Graham announced that a request had been made to consider the petition of Doris Carroll for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Two Family Dwelling District (2F) on Lot 4, City Block 188 -D located on the north side of Old Jefferson Road approximately 180 feet west of 12th S. E. which had been tabled at the May 10, 1982 Council meeting. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Wilson to remove this item from the table. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. There was no one present to speak on the petition and Mayor Graham called for the reading of the Ordinance. ORDINANCE NO. 2642 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) ON LOT 4, CITY BLOCK 188 -D ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DORIS CARROLL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman McWaters for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. The final plat of Young Addition was presented and a motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman McGee to approve the final plat. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Francis enter the Council Chamber and assumed his chair at the Council table. ORDINANCE NO. concerning the annexation and Zoning of a 13.15 acre tract of land located on the North side of Stone Avenue and the East side of U. S. Highway 271 was introducted by the City Attorney. No action was necessary on the matter. City Attorney Haynes presented the following petition for re- zoning: Mount Sinia Lodge No. 1570, Lot 10, City Block 79 -A from 2F to 2F- Specific Use Lodge (17); Darrell Coats, part of Lot 1 and 2, City Block B, Town East Estate from SF -2 to MF -1; Pearl Henry, Lot 4, City Block M, Fuller - Dohoney Addition from SF -3 to SF -3, Specific Use - Mobile Home; James Garvin, Lot 1, and 1B, City Block S, Maxey Addition from SF -3 to Neighborhood Service District. Mayor Graham referred the petition to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their study and recommendations and called for a public hearing at the next regular Council meeting. Mayor Graham stated that Roger Boxwell had requested permission to construct a hangar building at Cox Field and had received a recommend- ation from the Airport Advisory Board. The matter was discussed and Resolution No. 2196 was presented authorizing the construction and a long term lease for the hangar was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson,seconded by Councilman McGee for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
