rr , <br />City Attorney Haynes presented a Curfew Ordinance and explained why <br />the curfew should be repealed and <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2643 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE <br />REPEAL OF SECTION 18 -6.1 AND 18 -6.2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCE, CITY <br />OF PARIS, AND DECLARING THE SAME TO BE NULL AND VOID AND OF NO <br />EFFECT, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 9, 1982. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson for adoption <br />of the Ordinance, seconded by Councilman McGee. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for <br />a new trash truck for the Sanitation Department. A motion was made <br />by Councilman McWaters, seconded by Councilman Fisher to authorize <br />advertisement for bids on the truck. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham announced that a special meeting of the Council would <br />be held Thursday, August 12, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. to hear a report <br />from the CRS Engineering on the Sewer Project. <br />Mayor Graham announced the Council would go into executive session <br />to discuss matters with the City Attorney and the regular session was <br />declared closed and the executive session open. <br />City Attorney Haynes discussed legal matters with the Council. <br />Mayor Graham declared the executive session closed and the regular <br />session open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />JOE GRAHAM, MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br />ACTING CITY CLERK, JOE MCCOLLUM <br />
