MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS August 12, 1982 The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held, Thursday, August 12, 1982, 7:00 P. M. The following Councilmen were present: George Fisher, Jr., Gene McWaters, Jr., Donald G. Wilson, and Larry McGee. Also present were City Manager, R. W. Sokoll, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City.Clerk, H. C. Greene. City Manager Sokoll advised that the Engineers from CRS Engineers employed by the City for plans and specifications for the Waste Water Treatment Plant would give a progress report on the Sewer Project. Mr. Chuck Zickefoose and Bob Vivian discussed the amendments to the Facility Plan and discussed a trickling filter system for the Waste Water Treatment Plant being proposed for the City. City Engineer, Rick Conner, appeared before the Council and gave a report on the sewerage pump stations now being staff for the Infiltration /Inflow Project, planned by the City There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. GREENE CITY CLERK MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF PARIS August 17, 1982 The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held, Tuesday, August 17, 1982, 7:00 P. M. Mayor Graham called the meeting to order with the following Councilmen present: George Fisher, Jr., Gene McWaters, Jr., Donald G. Wilson, Walter F. Williams. Also present were City Manager, R. W. Sokoll, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. Mayor Graham announced that the first order of business would be consideration of authorization for the City to participate with League Cities in the 1982 Rate Increase Request of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. City Attorney Haynes advised the Council that the Texas Municipal League Cities were making a study of the rate request and had requested that 3.5¢ per capita be furnished by each city in the review. A motion was made by Councilman McWater,psecondedtbyg Councilman Wilson authorizing the City's participation in the rate request. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2203 authorizing the Mayor to execute a release after termination of contract and indeminity agreement with Hayter Engineer- ing, Inc. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
