Mayor Graham called for tabulations of bids for a Refuse Truck for <br />the Sanitation Department and the following bids were presented: <br />PAKMORE Manufacturing Company $42,060.75 <br />San Antonio, Texas <br />Davis Truck & Equipment Company $41,851.00 <br />Irving, Texas <br />Environmental Sales & Service $48,500.00 <br />Hurst, Texas <br />A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Wilson <br />to accept the bid of the Davis Truck & Equipment Company in the amount <br />of $41,851.00. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham called for the tabulation of bids for the Emergency <br />Generator for City Hall Emergency Operations Center and the following <br />bids were presented: <br />AMFAC Electrical Supply $1,450.00 <br />Paris, Tx. (Did not meet Specifications) <br />Swaim Hardware $1,625.81 <br />Paris, Texas <br />Watson Electric Supply Company $2,059.81 <br />Paris, Texas <br />A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams to accept the low bid of the Swaim Hardware Company in <br />the amount of $4,625.81. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham called for the tabulations of bids for Drainage Structures <br />on South Fitzhugh, Henderson and 19th, and 22nd and Ballard, and the <br />following bids were presented: <br />B & B Equipment Company <br />South Fitzhugh Structure $35,800.00 <br />Henderson at 19th Structure $17,800.00 <br />22nd N. E. at Ballard Structure $28,000.00 <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by <br />Councilman Fisher to accept the bid on the Henderson at 19th Structure <br />in the amount of $17,800.00 and reject the other bids. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 2204 authorizing the Acting Fire Marshal, Ronnie <br />Porterfield, to execute on behalf of the City of Paris such waivers <br />as required by Section 9.5 of the PLG Safety Rules of the Railroad <br />Commission was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, <br />seconded by Councilman McWaters for adoption of the Resolution. The <br />motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays, Councilman Williams not voting. <br />
