Acting City Manager Greene advised the Council that a public hearing <br />was in order to inform the public of changes which have occured or <br />are proposed in the Facility Plan of the Inflow /Infiltration Project. <br />He requested that January 10, 1983 at 7:00 P. M. be set as the public <br />hearing date. Councilman Wilson made a motion to set that date for <br />the Public Hearing. Councilman Francis seconded the motion which <br />carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham announced the next item was to consider a previously <br />authorized Ordinance updating Municipal Employee's Retirement Plan. <br />Acting City Manager Greene explained the proposed change in benefits. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2665 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND ALLOWING, UNDER THE ACT GOVERNING THE <br />TEXAS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM, "UPDATED SERVICE CREDITS" IN SAID <br />SYSTEM FOR SERVICE PERFORMED BY QUALIFYING MEMBERS OF SUCH SYSTEM IN <br />THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS; PROVIDING FOR INCREASED PRIOR <br />AND CURRENT SERVICE ANNUITIES FOR RETIREES AND BENEFICIARIES OF <br />DECREASED RETIREES OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />was presented. Councilman Fisher made a motion to adopt the <br />Ordinance. Councilman Wilson seconded the motion which carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2666 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY <br />REVISING THE TRAFFIC - CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) <br />OF SECTION 29 -80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br />EXCEED $200.00 REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT; HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY <br />1, 1983. <br />authorizing the installation of stop signs at 9 locations was <br />presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by <br />Councilman McWaters to adopt the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
