RESOLUTION NO. 2146 WHEREAS, the City of Paris is a party to PUC Docket No. 1517 as a result of having heretofore authorized its City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, to intervene in the same; and, WHEREAS,, the several parties to such case have reached agreement with regard to an accepted method or procedure for approval of payments to affiliates,attached hereto as Exhibit A; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that its City Attorney be authorized to approve said procedures; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby authorized to approve the pro- cedures set out in Exhibit A as settlement to PUC Docket No, 1517 and any surviving or consolidated docket numbers and approve a judgment in Cause No. 292,241 in the District Court of Travis County to facilitate the settlement of the same in accordance with the tenor of Exhibit A attached hereto; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Earl Bracken, Jr., be commended for his representation of the City of Paris' interest in the PUC Case and Travis County District Court Case, and he is hereby authorized to continue to represent the City of Paris' interest in said causes.
