Mayour Burnett announced that the next order of business would be consideration <br />of approval of the final plat, Morningside Addition No. 10. City Manager Sokoll <br />recommended that this item be postponed pending additional information from the <br />City Engineer. A motion was made by Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman <br />McGee to table the item. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Attorney Haynes presented the following petitions for amendment to the Zoning <br />Ordinance: The Crist & Elizabeth Pshigoda Foundation, south part of Lot 1, City <br />Block 258, from SF -2 District to MF -1 District; Pete Witter, Part of Lot 10, City <br />Block 317 for Agricultural District to SF -3, Specific Use- Mobile Home District. <br />Mayor Burnett referred the petitions to the Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />their recommendations and called for a public hearing at the next regular Council <br />meeting. <br />Mayour Burnett announced that the next order of business would be consideration <br />of recommendations made by the Airport Advisory Board and advised that the <br />Advisory Board had recommended the advertisement for bids for demolition or <br />removal of 3 hangars at Cox Fields. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Graham, seconded by Councilman Williams approving <br />the recommendation of the Advisory Board. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. The <br />Advisory Board had recommended the approval of annual permits for the following <br />individuals or businesses: <br />(a) Paris Flight Center - Flight Training and Leasing <br />(b) James Howell - Agriculture Operations <br />(c) Don Howell - Agriculture Operations <br />(d) Randall Stevens - Agriculture Operations <br />(e) Tapley Flying Service, Inc., from Idabel, Oklahoma <br />(f) Metro Airlines - Air Carrier Service <br />(g) Jimmy Wrenn - Pilot Training - Engine Maintenance - Agriculture <br />The Airport Board has recommended approval of the above permits subject to a <br />brief narrative of their scope of activities. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Graham, seconded by Councilman McGee approving the recommendation of the Airport <br />Advisory Board. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the reading of a previously authorized Ordinance increasing <br />Lone Star Gas Company's Rate. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2605 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, DETERMINING THE GENERAL SERVICE <br />RATE TO BE CHARGED FOR SALES OF NATURAL GAS TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL CON- <br />SUMERS IN THE CITY OF PARIS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER IN <br />WHICH SUCH RATE MAY BE CHANGED, ADJUSTED, AND AMENDED; AND PROVIDING FOR A SCHEDULE <br />OF SERVICE CHARGES; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 11, 1982. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded <br />Kohls for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 4 ayes, <br />man Williams, Councilman Wortham, and Councilman Burnett voting <br />by Councilman <br />3 nays, Council- <br />nay. <br />
