I Mayor Burnett called for the tabulations of bids for a Tractor for the Street Department, and the following bids were presented: LaRue Ford Tractor $8,790.00 Paris Implement (J.D.) JD1050 $7,000.00 JD2040 $8,500.00 Case Power & Equipment Company - Case 1190 $7,885.56 Pettit Implement Company $10,500.00 Glass Implement $8,500.00 Director of Public Works, Dan Brotton appeared before the Council stating that the low bid of Paris Implement did not meet specifications and recomended that the next Company meeting specifications was Case Power & Equipment Company in the amount of $7,885.56. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Williams to table the matter. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Burnett called for the reading of a previously authorized Ordinance establish- ing a .right turn lane on 12th Street S. E. at Lamar Ave. ORDINANCE NO. 2622 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC- CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29 -80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NiAY 1, 1982. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Kohls, seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 2155 authorizing the Mayor to execute a lease for Culbertson Park for a period of five years with a five year option to Kenneth Gifford was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
