a <br />44tJ <br />MSS OF THE SPECIAL MEE'T'ING OF THE CI'T'Y COUNCIL <br />April 14, 1982 <br />The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held Wednesday, <br />April 14, 1982, 6:00 P. M. Mayor Burnett called the meeting to order with the <br />following Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Walter F. Williams, Larry McGee, <br />Joe Graham, and Ken Kohls. Also present were City Manager, R. W. Sokoll, City <br />Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the tabulation of bids on tornado disaster debris <br />removal and the following bids were presented: <br />J. R. Ramon & Son, Inc. $1.73 Cu. Box 3125 <br />Mobile, Alabama <br />Harrison, Walker & Harper <br />222 Hickory St. <br />Paris, Texas 75460 <br />$8.14 <br />Resolution No. 2159 authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the J. R. <br />Ramon & Son, Inc. for the clearing and hauling of tornado debris for the design- <br />ated disaster area was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, <br />seconded by Councilman Graham for adoption of the Resolution. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
