A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Farris to <br />bring from the table the matter concerning the adoption of the 1979 -80 <br />budget. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />I. ORDINANCE 140 2455 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE ENSUING FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1979, <br />AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1980, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />APPROPRIATING THE VARIOUS AMOUNTS THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br />OF PRDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Councilman <br />Kyle for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Fisher <br />authorizing the preparation of a Resolution expressing the City's and <br />County's joint interest in establishing a health district for future funding <br />of cooperative health services including ambulance. Motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Councilman Burnett expressing <br />the Council's wiliness to participate with the County on a 50 -50 basis in health <br />and ambulance service with both bodies approving the budget and subsidies for <br />health service including ambulance service. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Councilman Burnett authorizing <br />the preparation and furnishing an alternate specification to all bidders on <br />ambulance service with.certain changes in equipment and personnel to be furnished <br />for day and night service. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />There being no further business, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded <br />by Councilman Fisher for adjournment. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
