RESOLUTION NO. 1947 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it is in <br />-- -the best interest of the City of Paris that it exempt itself from <br />Articles I and II of House Bill No. 1060, passed by the 1979 66th <br />Legislature of the State of Texas, so that said Articles shall not <br />affect the tax rolls of the City of Paris for the fiscal year 1979 -80; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there is not sufficient <br />time to comply with said Articles I and II in its tax assessing and <br />budgeting procedure, and that, therefore, the said exemption is <br />necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City of Paris is hereby exempted from complying <br />with Articles I and II of House Bill No. 1060, enacted by the 66th <br />Legislature of the State of Texas at its 1979 Session. <br />Passed and adopted this 27th day of June, 1979. <br />KA <br />FEW <br />P10 F/A III 1� <br />'Pot 0,00. <br />L - I - MOM A Mi <br />1v1L%'11C11.1 L. 1Yiu i.v cav, <br />A TIES : <br />H. �C: Cre ne, City Clerk <br />JAPRAayvnes, A TO FORM: <br />T, City Attorney <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />ATTEST: <br />• H.
