RESOLUTION NO. 1808 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its Council Meeting on the 9th day of May, 1977, approve the advertise- ment for bids for Three (3) New Key Control Gas Pumps for the Purchasing Department, in accordance with detailed specifications, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. , Wednesday, June 8, 1977; and, WHEREAS, the best bid for Three (3) New Key Control Gas Pumps was made by Roddy McCarrell, d/b /a Paris Pump Service, and he should be awarded the contract for the delivery and in- stallation of such pumps; and, WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish and install such pumps is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of Roddy McCarrell, d/b /a Paris Pump Service, to furnish and install Three (3) New Key Control Gas Pumps for the City of Paris Purchasing Department, in the amount of $6, 228. 98, is hereby accepted and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and conditions included in the bid documents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Kerry R. Sweatt, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the contract with Roddy McCarrell, d/b /a Paris Pump Service, to furnish and install Three (3) New Key Control Gas Pumps for the City of Paris Purchasing Department, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto.
